This charcoal drawing is of
Sebastian Bourdon an artist who made his
presence in
the 17th century. I first colored the back ground in blue then I worked in
black and white charcoal. Art class project. There is a
funny story that goes with this project. My mother, who just got
out of the hospital, at the time was living with us. She would
always come into my studio every night to see how much work was
done on it. After she had moved back to her own apartment I gave
her the drawing as a Christmas present. About a week later
she returned it only to tell me that she felt as though
Sebastian was watching her all the time. It freaked her out.
The drawing is 22" x 28".
There are no prints. Owned by artist.
